i suppose i should start with an explanation.
"one touch of nature makes the whole world kin" -shakespeare. why did i choose this? aside from being more than a little enamored of the works of good ol' will shakes, the phrase speaks both to the feeling that is the source of my inspiration, that feeling being the humble and almost frightened awe of gazing at mother nature and the expanse of her glory, that sensation in the heart of being a lesser part of something greater than us all, yet in us all. also, it expresses my style of art, which connects at all times back to nature in some way.
i promise, i'm not always this deep.
